This listing is for an antique watercolor paint set/ lot from mixed manufacturers. The box was made by Reeves & Sons and I would estimate it to be from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. The watercolor paint blocks in this beautiful wooden box are made from the companies Eyre & Spottiswood + T J Morris + George Rowney & Co. HIGHLIGHTS! : Vermillion - T J Morris Royal Smalt - T J Morris Chrome Yellow - T J Morris Orange Chrome - George Rowney & Co. ???Vermillion??? - ??? The rest of the colors appear to be more standard/ common colors such as earth colors amd "New Blue" which is ultramarine blue. *one of the paint cakes is broken in fragments. Likely an earth color. The wooden paint box itself is a treasure, but the paints inside of it really are unique and contain hard to find brands and colors.
